Sorry for a lenghty pause in updates, it has been a pretty quiet time with music stuff lately.

Burn Studios has recently announced a remix competition for Sasha's new track Cut Me Down with an exceptional opportunity for top remixers. I am going to give it a try and see how it goes. Also, I have started working on other new tracks a few days ago, and will be presenting them as an EP or even an album, depending on how the project carries on.

16.Dec.10 - Next EP out early 2011

My next EP will be released by JOOF at some point in early 2011. It will include "Tecabrali" - an original mix and another version called "calibrated mix", which is already featured on John '00' Fleming's mixes and also Armin van Buuren's radio show "A State of Sundays" (although my project name is unfortunately mistyped there). Stay tuned!

27.Nov.10 - Tecabrali featured on Armin van Buuren's mix!

One of the new tracks from my upcoming EP, Tecabrali (Incolumis Calibrated Mix) is picked up by Armin van Buuren and is featured on his radio show A State of Sundays 011! I'm very happy to have a track on another ASOT show, and hope that everyone will enjoy the track.

3.Nov.10 - EP update

The release of my new EP is confirmed and not too far away anymore! Despite what I wrote about finished tracks on September, during this time I have still made some final adjustments for the four upcoming tracks.

It is often hard to determine when a new track is ready, as in 100% complete. For me, there's an endless need to tweak this and finetune that, and often I just have to draw a line somewhere to get a track finished, while trying to get it sound as much as how I intended as possible. Frankly, there are very few tracks of mine, that I haven't been wanting to go back and work on some more after some weeks or months of post-listening, but I'm sure this is a familiar feeling for a lot of producers. However, now I feel like these new EP tracks are finally ready to go.

I hope to be able to present you the new tracks very soon!

14.Sep.10 - Upcoming music, update on website

After the recent EP, I went back to a few incomplete tracks that have been laying around on my hard drive for a couple of months, finally figured out how I want them to sound, so I got them finished. Also finished one, completely new track. I have made these into another EP of four tracks, for which I'm currently waiting for a label response. This EP's style is probably a bit more straight-forward and energetic than Heavy Machinery. I'm happy about how it turned out and am truly looking forward to showing it to you! Details will follow later.

Also, on the discography page, I've now added a Beatport Player and a Juno Player for track preview purposes. I'm still thinking about the placement, but at least for now they can be found there.

Yet another visual change to the website, which now uses the same kind of layout than my other website Hidden / Silent.

7.Sep.10 - Heavy Machinery EP released

Heavy Machinery EP is out! I'm excited and thankful about the warm welcome at JOOF Recordings again. The tracks in the EP are quite a bit different than in my previous release. I do hope that you enjoy it and that the EP didn't stray too far away from possible expectations. I like to try different things inside a certain scope of sound - it's always a challenge to keep a balance between the old and the new, but it keeps things more fresh whenever it works out.

Also, I'm already working on a few new post-EP tracks with a bit more consistent clubby tech sound, and they are progressing pretty nicely so far. Whether I will wrap those tracks up into another EP or present them as individual tracks, I haven't decided yet. Will see how they turn out and when they will be finished. One thing is for sure, though - there won't be another 5 years until the new stuff :-)

1.Sep.10 - Back with new material

After about 5 years of pause (miscellaneous remixes excluded), I'm returning with a new 4-track release, "Heavy Machinery EP", that will be released by JOOF Recordings on September. Stay tuned!
